I've brought this up a few times before. My friend Joel is currently making a video game. As of right now, his current musician has bailed on him and he has offered us the job of taking over the game music. Just wanted to start the topic and give you some information on what the deal is with this game.

He also told me that he wants the music to be all electronic with no real instruments. I was also told that he would see if he could give us a copy of the VST he wants to use. Apparently it's suppose to emulate the SEGA Genesis sound chip.

That's awesome! Sounds like we have some stuff to talk about in person. 

Does Joel still attend the meet-ups? Maybe seeing him demo his game there would be a cool way for us to get up to speed with what he's doing.

The music he already has is really good, and totally out of our wheelhouse. I'm excited to see what we can come up with.

The music he has no longer exists. The music guy bailed on him so he is starting from scratch. If we want to schedule a day for him to show up to the roc game Dev group I'm sure he would show up.
